Volunteer Roles

 

Build Mentor

Build mentors are adults who are directly involved in building the robot.  Mentors backgrounds vary from engineers and scientists working in industry to parents who can use a screwdriver and are willing to learn.  Time commitment:  at least once a week, or a focused effort during a particular phase of the build season.

 

Parent Build Session Volunteer

Parent build session volunteers are present during each build session to help with non-build items — keeping students on task, helping with admin items, or other tasks as requested.
